I’m coming home! I am excited to be in Chicago in August to visit friends and family. I am also very excited to offer a Functional Strength Training Exercise Clinic while I am in my old neighborhood! I developed this 4-session clinic to maximize your practical exercise knowledge while keeping cost and commitment to a minimum. Want to gain lifelong skills in 4 hours and reach your fitness goals? As a Certified Personal Trainer, I noticed these trends from new clients:

  • You want to learn how to strength train properly and safely

  • You need guidance regarding your proper starting point

  • You suffer from chronic pain or illness and need to exercise but are unsure about what you can safely do

  • You are unsure about your abilities, types of workout, or what to do when you arrive at the gym or when you choose a random YouTube video to do a home workout

  • You want to jumpstart a workout routine to lose weight, gain strength, and feel more confident

To solve these hang-ups I developed a 4-day Functional Training Clinic using both virtual and in-person support. Here’s how:

  • Before Starting: We have a virtual consult to discuss injury history, goals, and get you set up in the EXFO Fitness App. (You will enjoy free access to the EXFO App during our time together.) You are given homework to complete prior to our 1st session (don’t worry it’ll take you 10 minutes)

  • In-person Session 1: Assess your starting point and cover at least 1 Foundational Movement at JT Training Studios in Uptown. The studio is a private studio where we will have our own pod. So you don’t have to worry about crowds or gym intimidation.

  • In-Person Sessions 2-4: Cover the rest of the foundational movements (hinge, squat, lunge, core activation, push, overhead press) AND provide you with exercises to either progress your workouts or specific exercises to help your unique body be able to move pain free.

  • Virtual AfterCare: Once our sessions are over: You will be given a PDF of every workout we did which includes exercise cues. You’ll have an option to become a virtual client at a 15% discount for your first month. This way you and I can keep track of your progress and help you get closer to your goals.

  • Optional Virtual Nutrition Consultation Add-On: Receive 15% off a nutrition consultation (Typically $85).

  • Cost: $379.99. No extra cost if you bring your friend! Enjoy the workout with your accountability buddy + split the cost. That is $47.50/session per person! That is a steal for a private PT session anywhere. Remember: a couple that works out together - stays together.
